Custom website development
We design and develop company and product websites that fit your brand and what the site has to do. You manage the content yourself, and we build integrations where manual work piles up today.

A custom website means your own structure, not a template
A custom website is not built from a ready-made template with the copy poured in. It starts from what the page has to do: bring an enquiry, sell a seat on a course, explain the product. Structure, look and features follow from that.
In practice it means the site speaks your language and holds your identity, you manage the content yourself and you do not retype data into other tools. When the company grows, the site extends instead of being rebuilt from scratch.
What you get is a finished website on your domain, content administration with training and analytics set up. Access, documentation and the scope of the source code handover are settled in the offer and the contract before the work starts. Design and development are both ours, so nothing falls between design and code.
What your own website brings
Six things a template will not give you.
Enquiries, not visits
A website should lead to one action: write, call, buy. We build the structure and copy around that, not around what websites usually have.
Speed as part of the brief
We measure speed on the key pages and tune it to the agreed target, devices and environment. It affects search rankings and how many people leave.
A look people recognise
Your own typography, colours and rhythm following your identity. A template is obvious even to people who know nothing about websites.
Content without waiting
Copy, dates and products you manage yourself. No calling a developer to change a price or add a reference.
Connected to your tools
Payments, invoicing, CRM, bookings. The site does not have to be an island you retype data into.
One supplier
Design and development sit in one team. Questions that come up during the build are answered by the people who prepared the design.
Eight parts of every project
The scope differs, this is in every project.
Content architecture
We sort out what the site should say and in what order. The result is a site map and a copy outline, not just a list of sections.
Interface design
Key pages first, then the rest. For a website we check the key pages in a preview so they can be commented on in a real context. Standalone UX/UI design is handed over as a presentation with screens and states.
Copy
We help with wording and headlines. We turn your materials into something that reads well on a phone.
Development and deployment
We build the site, deploy it to the domain and set up backups and uptime monitoring.
Content administration
An admin with only what you really need to change. A short training session is included.
Technical SEO
Heading structure, meta descriptions, sitemap, structured data, redirects from old addresses.
Analytics
We set up analytics and goals so you can see where people come from and where they leave.
Handover and documentation
A description of where things live and a guide to common edits. Access, documentation and the scope of the source code handover are settled in the offer and the contract before the work starts.
Websites we have built

LayeredCourse sales, invoices and tickets in the wallet. Built on Astro with content in Directus.
SinClinicA plastic surgery clinic website. Procedures, doctors and the price list are managed by the clinic in Keystatic.
WalioThe sales site for our own product: plans, venue sign-up and a link to the portal. How the work goes
Every stage has an output we agree on.
First consultation
free · 30 min · online or in BrnoWe go through what the site has to do, who it serves and what content you already have. We say whether our solution is what you need right now.
Output: A recommendation for the next step.
Brief and scope
3 to 5 daysWe write the site map, the list of features and what is out of scope. Once the structure and scope are clear, we prepare an offer with the price and what it includes. Any changes are handled according to the agreed scope.
Output: A sitemap, a feature list and a quote.
Design
2 to 3 weeksWe settle the home page and one inner page. When they fit, we finish the rest. Comments are collected right in the preview.
Output: An approved page design.
Development and content
2 to 4 weeksWe build the site, fill in the content and connect payments, invoicing or CRM. You have access to a test version throughout.
Output: A test version of the website with content.
Launch and handover
1 weekWe deploy the site, measure the speed of the key pages, set up redirects and hand over content administration. We hand over access, documentation and source code to the extent we settle in the offer and the contract before the work starts. Later edits we keep handling.
Output: A live website with redirects and content management.
What we choose from
By scope and by who will manage the site.
Three scopes we meet most often
The amounts are indicative ranges excluding VAT at a rate of CZK 1,500 per hour. They are not an offer: we refine the price after the brief, based on the scope.
Onepage or landing page
One page, one clear action. Live in two to three weeks.
Company website up to ten pages
Custom design, content administration, one integration. Six to ten weeks.
Product or multilingual website
More pages, selling, language versions, links to invoicing and CRM.
What the website connects to
Websites we launched with nkz.studio
These websites run on WordPress with Elementor. What is custom is the design, built on the brand from nkz.studio, and clients edit the content themselves in Elementor. We write our own code where a ready platform is not enough, as with Layered.
When a custom website pays off
Companies after a rebrand
The brand moved on, the website stayed in the old look and started to hurt it.
New products and brands
You need a first website that holds up in front of investors and first customers.
Education and event projects
Courses, conferences or events where the site has to sell the seat and check the guest in.
Websites that outgrew a template
Adding features to a template costs more than building it properly again.
We will say when you do not need us
If you only need a simple page up quickly and the budget is under ten thousand crowns, a template and someone to deploy it will serve you better. There is no point paying for design on something that cannot carry it.
We also do not do one-off fixes of other people’s websites without knowing the code, nor sites where the brief is only “make it look like the competition”. On that kind of work we would add nothing.
What you ask most often
Did not find your answer? Write to us and we will reply within two business days.
How much does a custom website cost?
A onepage starts at CZK 15,000, a company website up to ten pages runs CZK 40,000 to 60,000, a larger or product website from CZK 100,000. We calculate from a rate of CZK 1,500 per hour by scope, not by packages. The calculator gives an indicative range.
How long does a website take?
A onepage takes two to three weeks. A company website with more pages and links to invoicing or CRM usually six to ten weeks. The most common delay is not on our side but in the content, which is why we help with copy and photos.
What do you build websites on?
By scope we choose Astro for fast static sites, WordPress where wide content management is needed, and Directus as a separate content store. Always so that the site can be managed without a developer and handed over.
Will I be able to edit the content myself?
Yes. Copy, photos, products and dates you manage in an admin that contains only what you actually change. Training and a guide are part of the delivery.
Do you handle SEO and copy?
Technical SEO is part of every project: heading structure, meta descriptions, sitemap, structured data, speed and redirects from old addresses. We help with copy; larger content and keyword strategy is handled by our sister studio nkz.studio.
What happens to the old site and its addresses?
We move old addresses with redirects so the links pointing at you keep working, and we carry over headings and descriptions. What we cannot promise is that search positions will not move at all: Google itself warns that a temporary dip can happen even when a move is done right. The original content is backed up before launch.
Do I get the source code?
Access, documentation and the scope of the source code handover are settled in the offer and the contract before the work starts. Third-party components have their own licence terms.
Do you build websites outside Brno?
Our office is in Brno at Plynárenská 1 and we work across the Czech Republic and for clients abroad. Most of the work happens online; we are happy to meet in person.
You give us the brief, we give you scope and price
The first consultation is free and takes 30 minutes, online or in Brno. We reply within two business days and suggest the next step.
